How do I install the Tally connector?+
Download the agent from /downloads, run the installer on the machine where Tally Prime / ERP9 is running, and start it with your firm's API key. The agent will pull TB whenever you press Build.
Can I export to Word?+
Excel and PDF are first-class outputs. Word export is on the roadmap (Q4 2025). For now, you can edit the .xlsx in Excel and Save As .docx if needed.
My TB doesn't balance — will the engine still build?+
Yes. The engine flags the imbalance prominently in the Mapping Audit sheet, and the BS Total line shows the gap. Fix the underlying TB and re-build.
Does NCE Suite work for Limited Liability Partnerships?+
No — LLPs are corporate entities under Schedule III with their own ICAI Guidance Note. We're building a separate product for LLPs.
Can I lock an FY after sign-off?+
Yes. Each FY has a 'Lock' switch — once locked, no further builds or TB uploads. The locked package is what your audit file references.
